• Improved performance when loading a sampling procedure and making changes to the part tree.

  • Nodes in the component tree can no longer be delegated if test reports or test orders exist for them.

  • Sampling groups (manual entry) :

The addition of applicable components is possible regardless of the version of the standard digitization. Only the date of issue counts.

  • Comments are required for any reduction in the scope of testing. This includes:

    • Deactivation of standards.

    • Deactivation of test methods.

    • Deactivation of test criteria.

    • Modification of target values.

    • Marking as a co-applicable component.

  • Sampling report (manual entry) :
The file name of the sampling report is now more meaningful if no part number is found.

  • To avoid unnecessary effort, only complete data sets can now be submitted for findings. Previously, it was also possible to submit incomplete data for acceptance.

  • Processing-relevant data can also be entered with sampling reference for all components, so that they can also be recorded for released components.

  • The part number in the standard form for parts has been changed from mandatory to optional, so that unnecessary data no longer needs to be entered.

  • In the Parts section, a new "Supplier" column is displayed with the company name of the Tier-1 supplier, so that samples from specific suppliers can be found quickly. For this purpose, the "Type" and "Action" columns have been removed from the Tasks and Parts.

  • It is indicated when a newer version of an already activated standard is available.

  • The configuration of a standard can be performed again if the standard does not yet contain test results.

The "General" form for materials and coatings has been greatly simplified to minimize the entry of redundant information.

  • Test standards (manual article) :

If a standard has several application areas, changes to the customer relevance are always applied to all application areas. This is to prevent customer requirements from being submitted incompletely.

  • Sampling reports (manual article) :

    • When creating the sampling report, it is possible to select whether all or only the customer relevant standards should be observed in the sampling report. This makes it possible to create reports for internal filing as well as reports for transmission to the customer.

    • Section 3 of the sampling report summarizes all activities that require manual inspection.

  • Result editor (manual article) :

The automatic evaluation of inspection results is additionally displayed directly at the entered value during the result entry.

  • Release editor (manual article) :

For test results, a visual distinction is made as to whether the result could be evaluated automatically by material.one or whether a manual check by the customer is required.

  • The loading time of an operation has been significantly improved, especially for large operations.

  • Screenshots are automatically created for all selected components, provided that access to the 3D data is available.

  • Filters:

    • Navigation in the component tree when filters are activated has been improved.

    • All sub-components are also visible when a filter is activated.

    • The number of open tasks no longer depends on the selected filter

  • The sampling report contains a table of contents with all sections. Access to the table of contents depends on the PDF reader used.

  • The display of test results has been revised with regard to clarity and how multiple values have been aggregated.

  • Components (manual article) :
Deletion of components has been restricted. A component can no longer be deleted unless all standards on all subcomponents can be deleted.

  • The component owner can only open an operation in read-only mode. The exception is changing the operation status.

  • Significant improvement in loading speed for large components.

  • Test standards (manual article) :
Various improvements in user guidance when dealing with different application areas.

  • Components (manual article) :
The new component type "joining element" is supported.

  • For Mercedes-Benz parts, releases from SQMS can also be referenced for child components of a part number. Previously, this was only possible on the component with the part number.

  • Various improvements with regard to user-friendliness when filtering and adding standards.

  • Sampling reports (manual article) :
The data of the form "General" are included in the sampling report.

  • Most popups can be moved so that they no longer cover the underlying content.

  • Test standards (manual article) :
material.one supports the user in finding all standards for which there are no released test results yet or which still need to be completed by filtering the component tree for corresponding elements.

  • Sampling reports (manual article) :
Sampling reports are generated with a more descriptive file name.

  • Evaluate test results (manual article) :

    • Test results can now only be pinned if the results are complete. Deactivated criteria are not being considered here.

    • Test results only need to be pinned to be included in the sampling report. Previously, pinned results had to be additionally approved.

  • The loading time of the operation overview has been dramatically improved, especially for many operations.

  • Sampling references :

    • Unnecessary multiple sampling of entire delivery scopes can be avoided by setting a sampling reference between two operations on material.one.

    • As a supplier of Mercedes-Benz, it is possible to set a sampling reference to an existing release from SQMS. For this purpose, Mercedes-Benz has provided the historical data from SQMS to material.one.

  • Test reports :
For the input of test results by the supplier, the date of issue of the test report must be entered to check plausibility.

  • Forms (manual article) :
material.one supports the user in filling out all mandatory fields in forms by filtering the component tree for elements with missing mandatory data.

  • Sampling groups (manual article) :
A component can now only be added to a sampling group if the reference component contains at least all the standards of the component which is to be added to the sampling group.

  • Test standards (manual article) :
The configuration of the test standard is displayed in all editors (test plan adaptation, result input, result release).

  • Test reports (manual article) :
The labels for the creation of test reports submitted by suppliers are generalized.

  • The test plan can be adapted directly when entering test results.

  • To avoid incomplete test plans, all areas of application of manually added test standards are deleted.

  • Several components can be opened simultaneously in the background.

  • For the purpose of correct sampling, the drawing revision must be specified for all part numbers in an assembly part.

  • Our new search feature allows you to find components by name even in large delivery scopes.

  • Sampling Report:

    • Attachments can be downloaded via links.

    • Components contain information about sampling references and groups.

  • In an open standard, the configuration is displayed.
